He is survived by: his wife Minnie Mary Harper Nelson; his children, Winne Ruth, Cora Rebecca, Ardell Jr. (Inayah), Daniel Lee (Marie) and Sherry Renee; his grandchildren, Eddie, Emily, Anthony, Eunice, Jennifer, Jackie, Joseph, Markus, Justin and Aaliyah; his siblings, Birdie Brown, Marie Brown, Tommy Nelson, James Limuel, Leonard Nelson, Imalee Houston Holmes and Manuel Limuel; and his sister-in-law Winnie Martha Moyer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harrell Funeral Home - Kyle (1715 Kirby, Kyle, TX 78640). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
