Peggy Jo Jenkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2024, at the age of 94, Peggy Jo Jenkins of Krum, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Peggy Jo had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Peggy Jo may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arno Hill Thurmond and Roxanna McCurley Thurmond; and her siblings, V. O., Pete, Delmas, Foy, Arno (Booster, Jr.), Margaret and Abbie (Gene).
She is survived by: her sons, Gary (Glenda Jenkins), Darrel (Gail Jenkins) and Dwayne (Tammy Jenkins). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lake Dallas Church of Christ (502 Carlisle Dr, Lake Dallas, TX 75065). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
