Though Peggy Jo may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arno Hill Thurmond and Roxanna McCurley Thurmond; and her siblings, V. O., Pete, Delmas, Foy, Arno (Booster, Jr.), Margaret and Abbie (Gene).
She is survived by: her sons, Gary (Glenda Jenkins), Darrel (Gail Jenkins) and Dwayne (Tammy Jenkins). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins.
