He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy and Audrey South; and his sisters, Linda Robinson and Donna Jones. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Read; and his siblings, Brenda Hood, Debbie Odom, Geri Odom and Ray Odom (Alexandra "Allie" Davenport). He is also survived by one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Larry did not want flowers, he requested that donations be made to Shriners Childrens Hospital.
