He is survived by: his wife Gregoria; his children, Gustavo Guerra Jr. (Sherri), Ella, Alicia Kimberlin Guerra and Armando Guerra; his sister Amelia Guerra of Devine, Texas.; and his sisters-in-law, Irma Guerra of Muscatine, Primitiva Guerra of Lawton and Maria Guerra of Bryan, Texas..

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors (2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (2255 N Bonnie Brae St, Denton, TX 76207).
