He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Cartmel and Julie Cartmel (Thomas); his grandparents, Dow and Lizzie Thomas; his daughter Joan Miller; and his brother Check Cartmel.
He is survived by : ; his children, Clifton Mack, Jr. (Maggie) of Robinson, Julia Jester of Ash Flat and Joslon Johnson (Steve) of Nocona; his son-in-law Tom Miller of Chico; and his grandchildren, Daphne Gilbert (Tim), Cody Cartmel (Sihara), Loretta Yates, Leona Driver (Corey), Toma Miller (Teresa), Wes Jones, Adam Jones, Buck Jones, Brent Miller (Julie) and Chaz Miller (Stephanie). He is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
