He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin O. "Dick" and Anna Laura Hansel (Bishop); and his brother Don Hansel. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Hansel of Krum; his daughters, Melissa Tanner (Joe) of Denton, Jennifer Wyman (Jesse) of Aubrey and Lori Cupp (Brandon) of Irving; his stepson Kenneth Belken (Nicolle) of Krum; his sisters, Mary Gayle Berend of Saginaw and Cheryl Rabe (Mark) of Carrollton; his grandchildren, Allie, Jake, Jackie, Julie, Blake and Scarlett; his great grandchild Lincoln; and his siblings-in-law, Tish Barton of Winter Haven, FL and Hal Johnson of Lake Mary, FL..
