He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Ray Kruger and Florence Housden; and his brothers, Charles, Jimmy Dwane and Billy Jack Kruger.
He is survived by: his wife Zelma Louenge Markham of Krugerville, TX; his son Doug Kruger Jr. of Pilot Point, TX; his stepson David Payne Jr. of Lewisburg, TN; his daughters, Lisa Hubbard of Sanger, TX and Pamela Pittsinger of Corinth, TX; and his stepdaughter Cherie Anderson of Krugerville, TX. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
