He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Bertrum and Aline Monk (Watson). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Bishop; his children, Jim David Monk of Krugerville, Jay Monk of Fort Worth and Jessica McCullough (Craig) of Aubrey; and his grandchildren, Addison and Ronan McCullough of Aubrey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
