It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Mae Bullard King of Kress, Texas, born in Ballinger, Texas, who passed away on October 13, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Duncan and Nina Mae Bullard (Dudley); and her brothers, George, Ray, Norman, Fred, Roy and Truman Bullard.
She is survived by: her husband Jesse King of Kress; her children, Johnny Taylor of Kress, Elizabeth Ann Klare (Ward) of Slaton, Sherri Dennis of Lubbock and Paula Murtha (Mike) of Lakewood, Washington; and her sisters, Shirley Buchanan of Anton and Wanda Fails of Soper, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
