She was predeceased by: her parents, John Spain and May Spain (Donley); her husband Jim Smith; her siblings, John Martin Spain, Doyle Spain, Cletus Spain and Pauline Gray; her sister-in-law Martha Bates; and her niece Anita Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Lee (Robert) of Canadian, Nova Stippel (Oly) of Baytown, Texas and Mickiel Smith of Kress, Texas; her grandchildren, Chris Lee (Heather) of Canadian and Denise Roberson (Todd) of Perryton; her niece Christine Bushong; and her nephews, Kenneth Moore of Blanco and Dennis Moore of Blanco. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
