Yvonne Lewing Obituary

Mrs. Yvonne Corine (Lilley) Lewing, 87, of Kountze, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021. Yvonne was born in Livingston on March 20, 1934 to David and Corine Lilley.

Yvonne was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church in Kountze, Tx. She was a teacher for 35 years and a friend for life. Her consistent Christian lifestyle made her glow. Her love and friendship were priceless. I long to be with her again in Gloryland. -Willie Gant.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, William Gant Jr.; her daughter, Cathy Goldstein; her grandchildren, Arlis Anderson, Kenny Anderson, Bishop McElveen, Melinda McElveen, Cody Gant, and Kimberly Gant; and her great-grandchild, Riley Corynn McElveen.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, David and Corine Lilley; her husband, Jimmy Lewing; her daughter, Holly Anderson; and her sister, Jeanne Courts.

Yvonne will be laid to rest on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Big Sandy Cemetery, services will start at 10:00 a.m.
