She is survived by: her sons, Joe David Read, Sr. of Porter and Robert Read (Claudette) of Vidor; her grandchildren, Chris Read, Joe David Read, Jr., Adam Wyatt, Justin Duke, Derek Read, Vance Read and Lance Read; and her siblings, Mary Swearingen, Margaret Mangum and Walter Ripka, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
