Ruth Young Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Young of Kountze, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her husband David George Young; and her parents, E. T. Hamman and Jimmie Ruth Hamman. She is survived by: her children, Tiffany Davidson (Brian) of Baytown and Tyson Young (Amie) of Lumberton; her sister Ann Carpenter (John) of Sour Lake; her grandchildren, Kyle Kite (Taylor) of Anahuac, Kourtlynne Kite, Ryan Young and Taylor Young of Lumberton; and her great grandchild Willow June Kite of Anahuac.
