He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Robert Ferguson, Sr. and Verbel Powell Ferguson; and his grandson Samuel "Blake" McBride. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Ferguson of Kountze, Texas; his daughters, Rhonda Stillwell (Terry) of Burkeville, Renell Castle (Shannon) of Bridge City and Rachel McBride; his sister Mary Domec of Lufkin, Texas; his grandchildren, Ashtchin Kilmer, Morgan Castle, Blane McBride and Garrett Stillwell; and his great grandchildren, Bryce Kilmer, Bronson Kilmer, Beaux McBride, Kate Stockdale and Emmett Stillwell.
