She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Louise Franklin Bumstead and Whitfield Bumstead; her husband Louis A. Smith; and her son Allen Whitfield Smith. She is survived by: her son Donny Smith (Debbie) of Dallas; her nephews, Douglas Thornhill (Janeen) of Kemah and Danny Ray Thornhill of Lumberton; and her sister Peggy Thornhill of Kountze. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
