We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2022, at the age of 87, Mildred Sue Bumstead of Kountze, Texas, born in Bronson, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mildred Sue Bumstead to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Avie Whitehead Ruso and James Ruso; her husband R. M. Bumstead; her siblings, Hersel Ruso, Wayne Ruso, Hazel Gordon and Helen Crocker; and her granddaughter Brittany Phillips.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Bumstead, Jr. (Kathy) of Kountze, Mike Bumstead (Mary) of Kountze, Rusty Bumstead (Michelle) of Kountze, Tommy Bumstead (Honey) of Houston, Kathy Fugitt (Mike) of Brookeland, Lisa Coward of Beaumont and Dena Bumstead of Beaumont; and her brother Glen Ruso of Buna. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Bumstead's name to Central Baptist Church, 33814 Highway 96, Buna, Texas 77612.
