He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Mae Murphy Collins and Esker Collins; his stepfather George T. Bell; and his siblings, Emmett Collins, Charles Collins and Vera Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Lerah Collins; and his children, Gene Collins (Debora) of Kountze, Sheila Conn (Elton) of Kountze, Troy Collins of Kountze and Randy Collins (Rebecca) of Bevil Oaks. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
