She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Mae Rice and Thomas Edwin Hatton; and her brother Darrell Thomas Hatton. She is survived by: her husband Herman Alan Woodard; her children, Alana Eakes (Billy) of Kountze and Dee Chaney of Shephard; her grandchildren, Cody Holloway, Honey Herrin, Billy Wayne Eakes, Brian Chaney, Lavonn Chaney and Johnathan Chaney; and her siblings, Carolyn Elaine Patterson, Sandra Gay Davis, Debra Yvonne Hasson, Carl Everett Hatton and Terry Paul Hatton. She is also survived by seventeen nieces and nephews; and nine great-grandchildren.
