He is survived by: his children, Hubert Irvine Jr., Sandy Irvine, Lee Irvine and Jacqueline Barlow; his siblings, Joyce Irvine, Sheila Cade and Elester Whitmore Sr.; and his grandchild Treyveon Irvine. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was never pretentious; his advice was always honest and never hurtful. A good hearted uncle is what I will always remember.
