He was predeceased by: his father John William Moon, Sr.; his siblings, Judith Moon and John William "Bill" Moon, Jr.; and his son Lynn Richard. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Odom Moon; his wife Sara Moon; his children, Travis Moon (Jami) of New Richmond, Wisconsin, Will Richard of Boerne, Amy Price (Jon) of Sour Lake and Leeann Enderle (Scott) of Sour Lake; his grandchildren, BrennaAnn of New Richmond, Wisconsin, Norah of New Richmond, Wisconsin and Roman of New Richmond, Wisconsin; his daughters, Courtland Grace of Boerne, Ella of Sour Lake and Rayne of Austin; his sister Nancy Smith (Dean) of West Monroe, Louisiana; and his sister-in-law Peggy Moon of Gulf Port, Mississippi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
