He is survived by: his wife Virginia Fischer of Kountze; his children, Christy Fischer-Bonin (Mike Snider) of Lumberton, Robert Fischer (Carrie) of Lumberton, Karl Fischer (Cynthia) of Austin, Sherry Fischer of Clearlake and Mark Fischer (Sharon) of Kyle; his stepsons, Brandon Monk (Alicia) of Nederland and Brent Monk (Liz Brackett) of Cincinnati, Ohio; his grandchildren, Ashely Dobbins, Blanche Isenblitter, Samantha Deen, Hunter Hill, Erin Rayburn, Ryan Fischer, Gage Clemons, Makenzie Bonin, Logan Fischer and Braily Fischer; and his brothers, William Fischer, Jack Fischer, Bob Fischer, Don Fischer and Richard Fischer. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
