She was predeceased by: her parents, Sara Arvilla Butler and Gilley Edward Strother; her grandson Joseph Marrs; her siblings, Lurline, Dorothy, Ann, Melba, Opal and Cecil; and her son-in-law Bo Riley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Adah Riley of Kountze, Ann Walters of Kountze and Dorothy Boatright of Kountze; her grandchildren, Charles Riley, James Walters, Scott Walters, Donna McCarthy and John Robert Pounds; and her spouse Hugh Floyd Marrs. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
