She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Goad and Dovie Goad; her husband John Charles Whitmore; her daughter Sharron Nanette Dowden; and her siblings, Levi Goad, Roland Goad, Miles Goad, Alfred Goad, Bernice Goad Dowden and Joe Goad.
She is survived by: her brother Rich Farris Goad; and her grandchildren, Johnny Cox, Shannon Dowden and Anna Dowden. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
