He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Thelma Hargraves Pender and William Christopher Pender; his son Michael Ray Pender; his wife Faye Pender; his siblings, Donald Mills, Ray, Robert Pender and Robbie Morse; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Rossi and Arthur "Trey" Pender III.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Ledet (Clarence) of Vidor, Arthur "Buddy" Pender, Jr. (Deni) of Kountze and Danny Pender (Sandra) of Saratoga. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
