He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Elmer and Lerah Brown Elmer; and his brother Raymond Elmer. He is survived by: his wife Sylvanell "Sneed" Elmer of Kountze; his daughter Carla Taylor (Richard) of Raywood; his siblings, Arthur Elmer of Abbeville, LA and Larah Collins of Kountze; his grandchildren, Caleb Taylor (Shallen) of Raywood and Braxston Taylor of Raywood; and his great grandchild Allyson Gretchen Taylor of Raywood. He is also survived by dogs, his family, friends, and all his nieces, and nephews.
