He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Thomas Pelton and Rose Mary Beck Pelton; his brother Kent; his grandparents, Ednie, Dorothy Beck and Lillie Mae Pelton; and his uncle Bobby Gene Pelton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nikki Pelton, Amanda Pelton (Kerry Evans) and Jennifer Molina (Tomas); his grandchildren, Travion Thomas, Zayden Pelton, Kaiden Pelton, Karsyn Pelton, Kyzer Evans, Sophia Molina, Marcus Molina, Jazmin Molina, Lillian Molina and Carlos Molina; his siblings, Jerry Pelton, Berry Pelton, Keith Sherrod (Kay), Sherri Cordova (Willie Washington) and Verri Pelton (Eric Capetillo); his aunts and uncles, Becky, John Hawkins, Betty, Dewey LaFoy, Honey and Wesley Suttle; his close friends, Dean and Renee Mills; his nieces and nephews, Misty Pelton, Roger Ray, Kaisyn Evans, Ma'Kya Wells, Treydon Pelton, Jaiden Ray, Jaylana Ray, Leeza Rosales, Christopher Vasques, Timberlee Vasques, Braylen Vasques, Miranda Rosales, Sergio Arrendo, Kayla Pelton, Nathan, Amber Pelton, Ryder, Ashley Hoover and Demarcus Colbert; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaycee Curlin, Nathan Colbert, Demarcus Colbert, Jr. and Keiyarah Colbert; his niece Jeannie Ruth Hoover; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Erin Boatright, Braydon White, Isabel Pelton, Patrick Griggs, Georgia, Ashley, Jonathan Hawkins, Crystal and Phil Grimm; his cousin Heath (Staci Pelton); and also, Joel Wells, George Dyess, Terri Rasco, Roxy Rasco, Chris, Jessica Qualley, Memphis, Austin and Riley Beard.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fort Parker Memorial Park - Pavilion (2210 FM 1245, Groesbeck, TX 76642).
