He is survived by: his son Max Lynn; his daughter-in-law Carol Stone of Marlin, Texas; his granddaughters, Tonia Lynn Stone Allen (Ryan) of Kingwood and Megan Leigh Stone Bailey (Travis) of Meridian, Idaho; his stepgranddaughter Suzy Hicks Lindner (Donny) of Giddings, Texas; his great grandchildren, Audrey Elizabeth Baquet, Gwenyth Anne Bailey and Judson Rhett Lindner; and his siblings-in-law, Beth Shields Dawson (David) of Rockport, Texas, Garvis Preston Shields (Dell) of Waco, Texas, Basil Price Shields (Elaine) of Seguin, Texas and Billy Gail Gilmore of Tokio, Texas.
