He was predeceased by: his parents, Monico Salas and Juana Salas (Delgado); his wife Lupe Salas (Cordova); and his brothers, Manuel, Rafael and Roman.
He is survived by: his daughter Ana Smith; his grandsons, Richard Brent Smith of Cypress, TX and Robert Bryce Smith of Cypress, TX; his brother Rodolfo; his sister-in-law Lorena Salas of Red Oak, TX; and his sister Ana Maria Salas (Zacatecas Mexico) of Guadalupe. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
