He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brian and Mindy Truett of Temple; his great grandchildren, Whitley Truett, Kendall Truett, Addyson Taggart and Presleigh Taggart; his grandchildren, Brandon and Courtney Truett of Groesbeck; his great grandchildren, Colson, Corbin and Blakely Truett; his brother Ronnie; his sister-in-law Marolyn Truett of Groesbeck; his mother-in-law Jane Carpenter; his nephew Greg Truett (Morgan); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tinley, Taryn, Tyler Truett of Groesbeck and Justin (Kim Campbell) of Stranger; and also, Karsyn, Rylan and Kenadi. He is also survived by his sons and daughters-in-law.
