She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lightner and Winnie Lightner (Freund); her husband Jones Simmons; her sons, Larry and Bruce Arnold; and her stepson Jimmy Simmons.
She is survived by: her son Robert Arnold; her stepdaughter Sandy Yettevich (John); and her grandchildren, Traci Pogue and Andrea Arnold. She is also survived by great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
