Garland Fairbairn Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2020, at the age of 84, Garland Fairbairn (Kosse, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Grady Fairbairn and Ida Ruth Mitchell Fairbairn; his wife Carolyn Swinnea; and his siblings, Effie Jean Buckley (Buck Buckley), Grady Lynn Fairbairn and James Fairbairn.

He is survived by: his nieces, Sherri Redick, Alice Loper, Karen Simon and Elizabeth Marks; his nephew Jimmy Fairbairn; his siblings-in-law, Mary, Charles Swinnea and Charlotte Swinnea; his nieces and nephews, Heather Phillips, Sharla Tilley, Stephanie Kruger, Tara Swinnea, Nic, Matt and Bryan Claeys; and also Kat Swinnea.

Contributions in his memory may be made to Stranger Cemetery, Lott Presbyterian Church, Kosse First United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.
