She was predeceased by: her parents, Mozelle Malone Gideon and James Noble Gideon. She is survived by: her children, Angela Cochran Mahmarian (John) and Oliver Thomas Cochran Jr. (Denise); and her grandsons, Oliver Thomas Cochran III (Jessica), Brody and William Maxwell Cochran (Jinny Kooken). She is also survived by married, and the children.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests, with gratitude, that memorial contributions be made in Dorothy's memory to the Houston Humane Society or a charity of choice.
