He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Vandevanter and Rebecca Leola Christopher. He is survived by: his wife Linda Day; his children, Donna Rebecca Hassel, James Day, Donald Day and Mark Day; his stepchildren, Dan Jenkins and Wendy McMahn; his sister Pearl Connaly; and his uncle Benjamin Christopher. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rock Creek Church (12640 Rock Creek Rd, Waco, TX 76708).
