He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Lyon and Mary Lewis Powers Lyon; his wife Beth Lyon; and his siblings, Walter Lyon, George Lyon, Bill Lyon and Mary Helen Mulkey.
He is survived by: his sons, Cecil W. Lyon, Jr. (Celeste Henson) of Rosebud, Gary D. Lyon of Bremond and Ronnie L.; his daughter-in-law Pam Lyon of Grand Prairie; his daughter Patricia A.; his son-in-law Tony Ridley of Grandbury; and his grandchildren, Cristyn Smith, Nicole Good, Michael Thrasher, Josh Lyon, Misty Lavender, Ray Anderson and Cassie Null.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Kosse (100 N Myrtle St, Kosse, TX 76653). A burial will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Mustang Cemetery.
