She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Chafin (Panell) and Henry Carl Chafin, Sr.; her brother Henry Carl Chafin, Jr.; and her nieces, Dorothy Chafin and Donna Chafin.
She is survived by: her sisters, Josephine Castle of St. Jo, TX and Nema Westmoland of Knox City; her nephew Stanley Chafin of Knox City; and her niece Shannon Gillette of St. Jo, TX. She is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.
