It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Leonard Grindstaff Jr. of Knox City, Texas, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys (Moser) and John Leonard Grindstaff, Sr.; and his brother Samuel Leverett Grindstaff, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Grindstaff of Knox City; his daughters, Mona Denise Luckenbach (Jay) of Johnson City and Tamie Renee Weiershausen (Adlai) of O'Brien; his grandchildren, Audra Nicole Casino (Dave) of Seymour, Alyssa Simone Garrett (Ben) of Austin and Landon Reece Weiershausen of Houston; his great grandchildren, Evan Mark Casino of Seymour, Anson John Weiershausen of Houston, Knox George Weiershausen of Houston and Emerson June Garrett of Austin; and his close friends, Gilbert Casillas and Minerva Wallace. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
