He was predeceased by: his parents, William Granville Pierce and Sylvia Josephine Briscoe; his spouse Ivalene Bruce; his grandson Jason Scott Pierce; and his sons, Jimmie William Pierce Jr. and Joe Bruce Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Pierce (Dena) of Megargel, John Pierce of Olney, Twylah Robertson (Andy) of Iowa Park, Misty Pierce (Herb) and Gail Culifer of McKinney; his grandchildren, Jill, Doug, Kristi, Sterlina, Tres, Josh, Katie, Chere, John, Ryan, Cody, Crystal, Jerica, Jaelyn, Savannah, Samantha, Melinda, Dustin and Julia; and his brother Sammy Pierce of Benjamin. He is also survived by thirty-six great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
