She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro R. Arroyo and Esther Arroyo; her sister Esmeralda Valerio (Andrea Arroyo); and her daughter Alicia Fuentes. She is survived by: her husband Jose A. Alvarado; her sons, Freddy Arroyo (Yeimy) of Sanford and Ramiro Arroyo (Ameerah) of Sanford; and her siblings, Mary Norma Menchaca of California, Guadalupe Arroyo of Uvalde, Pedro Arroyo of Victoria, Ruben Arroyo of Uvalde, Joe Arroyo of Nebraska, Tony Arroyo of Uvalde, Raul Arroyo of Uvalde and Cruz Arroyo of Uvalde. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary (220 S Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (408 Fort Clark Rd, Uvalde, TX 78801). A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at the Hillcrest Cemetery (527 N Lovers Ln, Uvalde, TX 78801).
