She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence J. Edwards and Mae Edwards (Moore). She is survived by: her close friend James B. Nix; her children, Teresa Geeslin and Jimmy Nix (Lynne'); and her grandchildren, Bryant Jordan (April), Ajae Geeslin, Jewett Nix (Ravyn) and Sunee Sims (Taylor). She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
