She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney Taylor and Julia Richard Taylor; her husband Robert Rinks; her son Shaun Morvant; her siblings, Arbery Taylor and Lou Carter; and her daughter-in-law Diane Morvant.
She is survived by: her children, Sharlette Dunlap (Weldon) of Port Neches, Gayle Waller of Port Arthur, Gerald Morvant (Brenda) of Port Arthur, Michael Morvant of Lumberton, Brett Morvant of Spurger, Floyd "Paul" Morvant (Michelle) of Fort Smith, Ark and Lloyd "Bryan" Morvant (Nancy) of Woodville; and her siblings, Elizabeth Griffin of Seguin, Sherry Spears of Cypress, Darleen Vidrine of Eunice, LA and Russell Richard of Houston. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to Central Baptist Church, 801 S Margaret Ave., Kirbyville, Texas 75956.
