For Dekotia Dal is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Billie Stephenson, Pete Westbrook, Annie Westbrook and Bobby Simmons; and his brother Raymond Ray Simmons.
He is survived by: his parents, Pamila Simmons of Kirbyville and George Westbrook of Orange; his siblings, Carl Simmons of Kirbyville and Amber Simmons of Kirbyville; his former wife April Gilley of Burkeville; and his nieces and nephews, Savanna Harvey Miracle Fowler and Wade Fowler.
