He is survived by: his wife Barbara Black; his children, Mona Williams, James Elliott (Courtney), Charles Edwin Solly, Jr. (Jennifer), Sammy Solly (Edith), Darilyn Chester (Gary) and Tiffany Davis (Allen); and his siblings, Fred Solly and Joyce Willis. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
