Carolyn Bess Coleson Obituary

Carolyn Bess Coleson, 77 of Kirbyville passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Jasper Memorial Hosptial.

Funeral service will be 1 pm Wednesday January 11, 2023 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Kirbyville Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Tuesday, January 10.

Born June 21, 1945 to Allen Kirk and Loucille (Bass) in Call, TX she was a lifelong resident of Kirbyville and worked as a cashier.

She is survived by son, Jimmy Coleson and Lisa of Kirbyville; grandchildren, Bubba Coleson, Michael Coleson, Jessica Dunwoody and Andrew, Megan McClendon and Daren, Josh Coleson and Faron, Jonathan Coleson; daughter-in-law, Tammy Coleson; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver, Jessica Dorman.

She was preceded in death by, parents; husband, Jake Coleson; son, Ronnie Coleson; daughter, Gaye Coleson; brothers, Clyde, Don, Wayne, and Carl Kirk; sister, Ellen Freitas.
