He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Parker and Bertie Parker; his wife Shirley Sims; his son Dean; and his siblings, Eugene and Mary Ann.
He is survived by: his sister Murlene Thomas; and his daughters, Vicki Mitchener (Steve) and Shannon Brown (Matt). He is also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and numerous extended family.
