He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry English and Connie Crawford English; and his brother Jesse Don Beasley. He is survived by: his wife Andrée Abadie English; his son John Matthew English (Meredith Janney English); his grandchildren, Elliot Rae English and John Michael English II; and his brother Steven Denis English (Patricia O'Reilly English).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
