She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Geneva Zermeno and Gonzalo Zermeno; and her daughter Sarah Powers. She is survived by: her parents, Jesse Villarreal (Susie) and Gloria Villarreal (Joe); her husband John Powers; her children, Madeline Cardenas (Ricardo), Emory Powers and John Powers, Jr.; her sisters, Christina Diaz (Ismael) and Cynthia Salazar (Eugene); and her pet Luna. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery (21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
