He was predeceased by: his parents, Oakey Taylor and Zelma Taylor; and his wife Mary. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Knight (David) and Rob Taylor (Debbie); his grandchildren, Ashlee Knutson (Tyler), Taylor Knight, Coley Taylor (Miranda), Amanda Knight, Michaela Knight, Stella New (Joe), Sondra Morari (Slava), Krista Marquez (Hipolito) and Valentina Morris (Ryan); and his brother-in-law Bud Coley. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Kingwood First Baptist Church (3500 Woodland Hills Dr, Kingwood, TX 77339). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park (13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039).
