He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughter Erin Laughlin (Sean Laughlin); his brother Mark Grunze; his siblings-in-law, Cynthia Grunze, Judi Rill and Woody Rill; his niece Samantha Michalak; and his nephew Michael Grunze.
