Luella Morris Benson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luella Morris Benson in Kingwood, Texas, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard W Morris and Savilla Esther Bennett Morris; her husband Jack K. Benson Sr.; her siblings-in-law, David and Katherine Benson; and her siblings, James Morris and Donna Johnson.

She is survived by: her son David William Benson (Patti); her sister Patricia Summers; her son Jack K Benson Jr. (Alice); her grandchildren, Alissa Benson Ellis (John), Julianne Benson Coogler (Clint), Christopher Benson (Tanya) and Dustin Benson; and her great grandchildren, Alina Ellis, John Ellis, Brett Coogler and Camaryn Coogler. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The last few years were a struggle with the Covid restrictions and increasing health and medical issues which left her unable to do all the activities and have the socialization that she loved.
