Lee Sims Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lee Sims in Kingwood, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Lee Wilburn Sims; his mother-in-law Albertine Schaffer; and his nephews, Joshua Schaffer-Franco and Gerad Schaffer-Franco. He is survived by: his friend Jerry Davis; his wife Sherry Sims; his daughters, Ashley Sims Wisenbaker (Trey) and Stephanie Sims; his grandson Jackson Wisenbaker; his mother Shirley Sims Felder; and his siblings, Bart Sims, Cheryl Sims Rowell and Dean Sims. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cherished friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grace Church of Humble (7224 N Sam Houston Pkwy E, Humble, TX 77396). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dream Makers Legacy International to continue Lee's mission of helping those in need.
